Entire family loved it. We didn’t want to leave. Movie collection was a god send on the rainy day for my grand kids. Everyone enjoyed the beaches and the shore in front of cabin. Grand kids were able to feed the deer, crab hunting and beach combing. Would recommend this to everyone. Thanks to the Bennett’s for sharing their home with us. This is something my family will remember forever.

My husband, 5 kids and I enjoyed the stay so much. The house was wonderful, the views amazing, and you really can't beat having a beach in the backyard.

Great house with everything we needed - including convenient kayaks and paddle boards near the water. Very gracious hosts. Had a great time, stayed at this house two years in a row. Highly recommend.

Coming from Vancouver BC, it's a bit of a hassle to get to- dealing with I-5 traffic around Seattle- but once you arrive, all those things melt away.
The cabin is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The location is stunning- all the photos on the website do not do the location justice. The island is cute and quiet and made for wonderful morning jogs.
The water is peaceful - especially in the morning, making for great kayaking and paddle-boarding. The outdoor hose and shower next to the boathouse made everything so easy.
We enjoyed wonderful dinners on the back deck and stared for hours at all the stars you can't see from the city.
Donn and Sharon were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We should have stayed longer...
We're planning on coming back as soon as we can.

Loved loved loved this place. Everything you need for a great time is here. The view from the deck is better than the pictures. Be sure to bring plenty of food and drink as you will be on an island with no stores. feeding the Deer out of your hand is memorable experience not soon forgotten.(Fruit and veggies only) Our family will rent this beautiful again.

The view from the back deck is breathtaking. The ferry wasn’t running when we came, but the owner and his assistants made getting on/off the island very easy. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back.

An oasis. A great place to re-calibrate and relax. Get away from the stress and come here to look over the water and sit under the pines. Kayak, boat, hike, grill, read and be merry. This place is a gem.

This place was a perfect spot for peace, quiet, views and paddling about in the Sound. We were 3 adults and 3 teens, and we fit perfectly. We all agreed that the beds were especially comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, although small for more than 1 cook, but good for our purposes. We enjoyed feeding the deer, and made use of the canoe, paddle boards and kayaks. We were glad we brought DVDs for evening entertainment.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful property for 5 nights. The weather was amazing. We went out on the Kayaks and Paddle Boards daily and every night we sat by the firepit. We saw seals, bald eagles, porpoises and Mt Rainier from the water. We had plenty of life jackets and calm water.
There is not a ton to do on Anderson Island and that is why we chose this location and home. Still some of the family managed to pry ourselves from the view and went golfing, a great hike (Andrew Anderson Marine Park), Johnson Farm Historical Society (fun gift shop), and great dinner at Riveria.
The house was immaculate with everything as noted in the description. Neighbors are close, but it didn't matter. Furniture and beds, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen and outdoor area all A+. We cooked all but one night and had everything we needed. Owners were great to work with and the ferry easy to take.
I would recommend this peaceful, beautiful get away to anyone needing a little relaxation with all the comforts & scenery needed, throwing in some fun water activities.

Great beach house! We were there during a heat wave and made great use of the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided. Indoors, the house was cool and the sunroom a perfect place to read and take an afternoon nap. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen, BBQ, and decks easily accommodated our party of seven (5 adults and two littles). The kids enjoyed looking for treasures on the beach at low tide and enjoyed the Old Swimming Hole in a nearby lake, where there was a protected area for little ones and swim platforms for older and more adventurous kids. We would definitely return.

This lovely house on Oro bay is everything the pictures and description make it out to be. Our family had a wonderful 4 day vacation. Everyday was spent paddle boarding, kayaking and dining on the deck. We sighted harbor seals, cormorants and bald eagles daily. One day we paddled over to Jacob's Point park, pulled the kayaks up on the beach and hiked the 1.5 mile, well groomed, Homestead trail. Each evening we ended around the fire pit chatting and enjoying the peaceful sound of the water. The house itself is immaculate and stylishly yet comfortably furnished. We had everything we needed. The views from every room facing the bay are incredible. I can honestly say our stay at this Anderson Island home was one of our favorite VRBO experiences. It was everything our family needed to end the summer refreshed, reconnected and ready for all the hectic activity that Fall brings for school aged families. We are already looking at when we can come back next summer.
Thank you Betty and Donn!
